What

The Academic Eye free pilot will provide training and ongoing support with its data tracking tool, ensuring a platform that seamlessly aligns with educator needs while streamlining data collection. During the free pilot, teachers and schools will use the tool to:

  • Monitor growth in Success Skills (PreK–12)
  • Track mastery of the Missouri Early Learning Standards (Approaches to Learning, Social-Emotional Behaviors) and the Missouri Learning Standards (Academic Development, Career Development, Intrapersonal and Interpersonal Development)
  • Identify instructional gaps and create tiered goal setting and tracking for students in Success Skills.

By participating, schools gain early access to a system that simplifies data collection, highlights learning gaps, and delivers actionable insights.

Why

Less than half of Missouri’s students and schools are performing at or above proficiency on statewide assessments and accountability reports. Educators need clearer, more actionable ways to track student progress and close learning gaps before they widen.

The Academic Eye pilot exists to address this urgent need by partnering directly with teachers to co-develop a tool that streamlines data collection, makes student learning visible, and sets tiered goals for growth. By joining the pilot, schools are not only shaping a new solution but also taking immediate steps toward improving outcomes for their students.

How

By combining real classroom use, teacher feedback, and rapid iteration, the Academic Eye pilot ensures the product is built around authentic needs. Teachers gain early access to the platform, administrators receive actionable reporting, and both provide continuous input that shapes development. This collaborative process allows us to refine usability, confirm instructional value, and prove scalability in diverse school settings—making sure Academic Eye is not only effective but also ready for district-wide adoption.
