Ashley Brockmann- Founder and CEO
Academic Eye began when founder Ashley Brockmann stepped out of the classroom after seventeen years as a teacher, reading intervention specialist, and literacy consultant. Across every school and district she served, she saw the same challenges: teachers overwhelmed by scattered data, families eager to help but unsure how to support their child’s specific needs, and students often lacking a clear understanding of their own goals, growth, and potential. Ashley recognized that meaningful change in education would require more than adding another program to an already crowded system. It would require building one clear, simple place where learning becomes visible, actionable, and connected for everyone involved.
Academic Eye was born from that vision. Today, Ashley serves as Chief Executive Officer of Academic Eye, leading the company’s mission to transform how schools, families, and students understand academic progress. By combining educator expertise with innovative technology, she is building a platform designed to simplify data, strengthen communication, and empower every child with a clearer path to success. Ashley’s work is rooted in a belief that when learning is easier to understand, everyone—teachers, families, and students—can move forward with greater confidence.
Gokul Sudanagunta- Technical Lead
Gokul Sudanagunta is the Technical Lead at Academic Eye, where he builds technology that makes student progress clear, actionable, and meaningful for educators, students, and families.
Alongside his work at Academic Eye, he leads GAME Holdings LLC, partnering with clients in banking and e-commerce as a data and financial analyst, transforming complex data into
reliable insights that drive better decisions.
Drawing from experience across industry and research—including medical, financial, and quantitative projects—Gokul brings a practical, data-driven approach to building systems that prioritize clarity, trust, and real impact. With expertise in modern tools for building and managing technology platforms, he develops solutions that are intuitive, scalable, and built for real-world use.
